WHY CHOOSE ST. PATRICK'S?

At St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School, our mission is to inspire and equip children to courageously transform the world.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School offers an excellent educational experience to students in grades K-6. Multiple teaching strategies and interesting supplementary materials support thoughtfully planned lessons and hands-on learning opportunities.  At St. Patrick’s, students learn the necessary skills to become strong, independent learners who are well prepared for their secondary school experiences.

SERVICE LEADERSHIP

At each grade level, St. Patrick’s students engage in a year-long service learning project that is meaningful and age appropriate. Each service project teaches civic responsibility and is closely tied to the language arts, math, science, or social studies curriculum which enhances students’ learning experience. Fostering a commitment to social responsibility  and global citizenship is an important part of a St. Patrick’s education.

OUTSTANDING ENRICHMENT CLASSES

In addition to our excellent academic curriculum, St. Patrick’s offers a robust and well-rounded schedule of specialty classes to enhance a child’s learning. Each week, students attend classes in art, physical education, music, technology, and Spanish.

SPIRITUAL
FOUNDATION

St. Patrick’s is a Community of Kindness where young people are taught to be caring and compassionate. There is a focus on building character and on developing a sense of responsibility for others.  Part of the Episcopal tradition is learning that we all have gifts with which we are blessed, and that through habits of service, we can cultivate grateful hearts that help others.

EXCEPTIONAL FACULTY

Our teachers are selected carefully on the basis of academic qualifications, experience, and the personal qualities each can bring to the school. They are passionate about developing the intellectual, creative, and personal potential in every student. All homeroom teachers are credentialed.

K-6 EXPERIENCE

St. Patrick’s School is a place where children can be and remain young without feeling the pressures of acting older or being around more mature students.  The needs of our elementary students remain primary.  Our oldest students, the sixth graders, are the leaders of student government, school presentations, and of “family groups.”  Fifth and sixth graders act as buddies to the youngest students on campus, providing friendship and mentoring to the kindergarten and first grade students.

PLEASANT SURROUNDINGS and SMALL CLASS SIZES

The St. Patrick’s School campus sits atop a hill overlooking a stunning view of the Conejo Valley. Our beautiful facilities house large light-filled classrooms where our students enjoy small class sizes and a low teacher student ratio.
