St. Patrick’s Spirit Day

An annual tradition at the St. Patrick’s School is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in a fun and crazy way.  It is a day when all the students creatively dress up in green wigs, green clothing, green hats, green shoes, and green accessories.  The day begins with kindergarten students making Leprechaun traps with the hope that they might catch one of those mischievous little fellows. For lunch the students bring in as many green foods as they can possibly think of and enjoy a picnic lunch at the park.  Following lunch, everyone plays field games with a St. Patrick’s theme.  And to top off the day, we can always count on a visit from a real live Leprechaun who manages to spread a few gold coins around the campus.
