Giving to St. Patrick’s
Educating a child is more than a beautiful building, a room full of computers, an outstanding faculty and a well-defined curriculum. From the founding of our school more than 50 years ago, the St. Patrick’s School has been a family oriented school that believes in a partnership of parental and community support. Our school has always relied on the generosity of our families and the extended community of trustees, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, and philanthropic friends. This partnership of active participation and financial support helps to keep our community strong in so many ways.
Active Participation
For a richer experience for you and your child, we encourage parents to take an active part in their child’s education. The Day School relies on dedicated volunteers who support the work of our St. Patrick’s faculty and staff on a daily basis. Whether it is helping the students make sandwiches for the homeless, making corn bread for the first grade’s Thanksgiving feast, or helping with the composting and recycling programs on campus, opportunities to be part of the St. Patrick’s school life are abundant. We appreciate all of our parent volunteers. If you have an interest, we always need assistance in the computer and art classrooms. There are so many special events throughout the year where you can participate. For example, you can set up and monitor a game station for Sports Day, be on the hospitality committee for the Back to School picnic, help us decorate the campus for the holidays, volunteer in the Santa Store, work with the students on their grade-level community service projects, and much, much more.
Financial Support
St. Patrick’s relies on the generosity and support of families and friends to help sustain its excellent academic and specialist programs. Our Annual Giving Fund and the Gala are two important ways that St. Patrick’s families can support our school. We ask that every member of our community participate to the best of his or her ability. No gift is too small.
