TUITION AND AFFORDING ST. PATRICK'S

Why St. Patrick’s

A St. Patrick’s education provides students a carefully planned, sequential, and integrated educational experience within a supportive environment. Traditional subjects are taught in imaginative, memorable ways by faculty who go above and beyond to work with each child. Our students are challenged academically and personally to learn and grow.  St. Patrick’s graduates are confident young adults who understand the importance of  doing their best, giving to others, and being leaders in their community.

Affording St. Patrick’s

St. Patrick’s recognizes that an independent school education is a significant investment for families. In order to make the St. Patrick’s experience available to a wide-range of families, we offer various payment plans and tuition assistance.

Tuition Assistance
Approximately 15% of St. Patrick’s families receive tuition assistance, which allows them to pay a tuition amount that is specific to their unique financial circumstances. Awards are based on circumstances unique to each family, and the process takes into account many variables. Tuition assistance applies to annual tuition and also covers a percentage of student fees and Outdoor Education costs.

Online tuition assistance applications, through FACTS Grant and Aid will be available beginning November 1, 2023.

How to Apply
Go to the FACTS website.
New users select Create an Account
Returning users enter your existing Username and Password.
It is not necessary to complete the entire application at one time. You may access your application as often as necessary.
In cases of divorced or separated parents, both parents are obligated to complete the online application.

The Tuition Assistance Application Deadline (including all required tax and income documentation) is January 26, 2024. Copies of a family’s federal income tax returns are a required component of a Tuition Assistance application. The Tuition Assistance Committee is not able to consider applications where no tax forms exist, or where tax extensions have been filed. Parents are assured that all information submitted will be kept in the strictest confidence. Non-custodial parents may be required to submit detailed financial statements, depending on circumstances.

Determination Process
We partner with FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, a third-party organization that accepts and processes the data necessary and provides recommendations that offer a guideline to follow when making awards. This ensures applicant confidentiality and enables the committee to make award decisions based on complete financial information. Tuition assistance decisions are particularly difficult since we wish every qualified student could receive assistance; unfortunately, this is not possible. Our Tuition Assistance Committee often must choose among many competing requests.

As at all independent schools, applications for Tuition Assistance must be resubmitted on an annual basis in order to determine continued eligibility.

Payment Plans
A variety of payment plans are available to meet the needs of each family. Plans include single pay, two pay, four pay, and ten pay options. Families who elect for a multiple-payment option must purchase the tuition insurance plan.

If you are applying for assistance for a new student, the application process must be completed by January 26, 2024, or your tuition assistance application may not be considered.

Admission acceptance for new students is “need-blind” and is solely based on the student’s ability to be successful in the school environment, not in the family’s ability to afford the entire tuition.

Late assistance applications will be considered only if funds are still available.

Tuition assistance award letters for families new to St. Patrick’s will be emailed with your acceptance letter and contract on Friday, March 8, 2024.

If you are a parishioner in good standing with St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, please contact the church office to discuss additional assistance opportunities for parishioners.

The FACTS Grant & Aid application will be available beginning November 1, 2023.

Applications for currently enrolled families are due January 26, 2024 and must be completed and verified by FACTS to be considered during the award process.

Late assistance applications will be considered only if funds are still available.

Decisions about tuition assistance for current St. Patrick’s families will be emailed with the re-enrollment contract.
