St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School
Private School in Thousand Oaks, CA - Conejo Valley Kindergarten through 6th Grade
Dear Families and Friends of the St. Patrick’s Community,
It was fourteen years ago that I first visited this hilltop campus that is comprised of two school buildings, our chapel, and two play areas. As soon as I set foot onto the St. Patrick’s campus, I knew immediately that this was a special place.
The campus overlooks a magnificent view of the Conejo Valley and the surrounding Santa Monica Mountains. The teachers and staff love children and are dedicated to educating the whole child. The school families are friendly and welcoming. And the students bring a smile to my face with every conversation. St. Patrick’s students enjoy learning; they step up and help; they are polite and caring, and they understand the importance of serving others. Our students will grow up to be significant leaders in our community.
St. Patrick’s is an incredible school, offering a strong academic program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and the Los Angeles Diocese of Episcopal Schools, St. Patrick’s meets or exceeds all state standards. The school places value on learning the basics while embracing technological innovation.
But as strong as our curriculum is, we are driven by a more compelling mission of guiding young children to do and be their best. Our goal is to help our students acquire the skills, virtues, and habits of heart and mind that they need to be productive citizens of the world.
The St. Patrick’s School was founded in 1963 beginning with a kindergarten class of eight students. Today our school has a population of 130 students and is governed by a Board of Trustees that understands and appreciates the 57-year history and tradition of the school. However, it is our families that make our community strong.
Whether you are a current parent or a prospective family, I invite you to explore our website. I am proud of our school and encourage you to get to know us better.
Sincerely,
Nancy Whitson
Head of School
